3. Which are the main geological processes of the so-called rock cycle? How do these combine with the weathering and erosion of rocks to explain e.g. the formation of deposits of ores and fossil hydro-carbons such as oil and gas? Module question 4. What different forms of biodiversity are there? Give some northern examples! How is the biodiversity of sub-Arctic and Arctic ecosystems influenced by the fact that they often have small number of species?
